Early in the morning on Wednesday, 8th of August 2018, the journey to the Hajkutter Regatta startet in Rostock. German sailing guests had a shuttle to the Scandlines ferry and got picked up in Gedser for Nysted where at 9.30 the Hajkutters left the harbour for the Regatta starting at the Windmill Farm. They started at noon with less of winds and had to cut off the Regatta after 0,5 hours of sailing, because there was no wind at all. So Rostock was not reached while sailing but with engine. But this fact didn´t effect the mood of the sailing guests. All of them were very happy and enjoyed the incredible atmosphere on board of their choosen Hajkutter!
Thanks to all Hajkutter crews who made this sailing tour to an unforgettable experience!
Many thanks to all sponsoring companies:
Scandlines,
VOLVO, Autohaus Brüggemann and Autohaus Krüll
as well as Guldborgsund and Lolland Kommune,
Hanseatic City of Rostock and Baltic Sail Association,
You made it possible to pay a Hajkutter-Tax of 27,45 Euro per meter to each Hajkutter.
Looking forward seeing you all again next year for the Hajkutter Festival & Regatta in Nysted and Hanse Sail in Rostock. Danielle Zimmermann
