International Conference “Traditional Shipping in European Waters” Rostock, 13th to 15th of March 2019
BALTIC PASS – MARITIME HERITAGE TOURS
The Hanseatic City of Rostock, Tourism Information Office Rostock & Warnemuende, Bureau Hanse Sail in consultation with European Maritime Heritage Association has the honour to invite to the International Conference “Traditional Shipping in European Waters” which will be held in Rostock on 13th to 15th of March 2019 at the Shipbuilding and Seafaring Museum Rostock, Germany.
The conference shall bring together stakeholders of maritime heritage and tourism, owners of traditional ships, project partners of European projects, people involved in maintenance of maritime culture, operation and and preservation of maritime heritage sites, maritime museums, tourism entrepreneurs and representatives of Baltic cities. Since two years, the Baltic Pass project is working on developing touristic products – Baltic Maritime Heritage Tours – to enhance the knowledge of and the interest in Maritime Heritage of the South Baltic region. The International Conference on Traditional Shipping in European Waters presents the Baltic Pass project and its results, informs about innovations for traveling on traditional ships in Europe and gives the opportunity to network.
